Overview
The Annual International Asylum Law Moot Court Competition and Seminar (Moot Court) aims to strengthen the legal protection of asylum seekers and refugees in Central and Eastern Europe by enhancing the professional capacity of the next generation of asylum law experts in the region. Students of refugee law clinics in 11 countries in the region have a chance to participate in the event every year.
The Seminar aims to achieve this goal by:

- strengthening the networking btween refugee law clinics in Central and Eastern Europe and contributing to the dissemination of best practices and expertise;
- helping students improve their lawyering and legal argumentation skills, as well as their professional performance in general;
- providing students an opportunity to draw first-hand experience and receive critical feedback from internationally acclaimed practitioners and academics in the asylum field;
- assisting in creating a generation of young professionals committed to the protection of human rights.
